"Spirit of Unity", yoga weekend with Karma Chookela
Yoga, by definition, means “unity”. It is the practice where the “Asana” component of Hatha yoga introduces you to your body. “Pranayama” (Yogic’s breathing exercises) can help you gain access to your energy sheath and the technique of concentration can help you cultivate a one-pointed mind.
These practices lead to an accepting mind, a stronger body and a more peaceful self. So in our small way, let's heed the call to unity by putting our differences aside, keeping an open mind and silently sending our good will to the other yogis in the room and come together to practise in peace and unity. .
Please bring a fleece or cover for the moments of relaxation.
