We invite you to come and find out on Thursday 1, Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August between 2pm and 6pm!
You'll have the chance to see Lama Wangel and Lama Tenzin from the Sonada Monastery at work. They'll be delighted to welcome you !
Everyone is welcome, including the very young !
A sand mandala is much more than just a work of art! The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit and means "centre" or "inner content". On a conventional level, the mandala represents the entire universe as perceived by the individual: it is then considered to be the centre of his or her perceptions. On the subtle level, the mandala is the pure development of the wisdom mind of the Buddhas, the pure and clear perception of the essence of all things. Read more...

The proceeds from this project, which will take place at Kagyu Yeunten Gyamtso Ling's three centres, will go entirely to benefit the training of the monks of Sonada Monastery et consacrés à la formation des moines. C'est dans ce même monastère qu'ont étudié et ont été formés les Lamas qui enseignent dans nos trois centres de Huy, Bruxelles et Schoten.
